The rushy fields were so called because they are very rushy fields. There is nothing in them but rushes.
The coarse fields were so called because there is coarse hay got in them.
The haggard is so called because we always keep the turf in it and the barn is also in it. - My farm is situated in Tureendaniel which means the land of the O'Donnells because it was owned by a family of the O'Donnells long ago.
