    English language. He is a very big farmer.
    In the Barleyhill district in the parish of Newmarket there is a good poet by the name of Jeremiah Sheahan. He is a very extensive farmer and a cattle dealer.
    There were more local poets long ago than what there are nowadays.

  2. Some good poets long ago were Cornelius Keppel, the Line, a farm - labourer for occupation , who was working for the farmers all his lifetime. He emigrated to America several years ago and was buried there four or five years ago. He made poems and songs about patterns or dancing in the Summer time and also about dances held in the farmer's houses in Winter nights. They also made songs about Shrove time.
    Some of the present day poets are Cornelius Hanon of Clashrue Meeling a farm labourer for occupation.
