    a farmer who lived convenient to the bridge noticed him, approached him, and questioned him, thinking that O'Connor's mind was deranged. O'Connor told him the object of his search. He was advised to go home. It is said, on his way home he found a crock of gold hidden beside a tree convenient to his own home.

  2. This treasure was supposed to be hidden in a rock
    of limestone, quarried in Taurmore limestone quarries
    in the parish of Clonfert, Barony of Duhallow,
    Co. Cork.
    A man named Cornelius O'Connor, Glencollins
    Ballydesmond. Co Cork, purchased some limestone
    at Taur quarries, with the object of procuring lime
    as manure for his land.
    After carting the stone to his farm, he was breaking
    it, into small pieces, to aid its burning, when he
    noticed a bright material glinting in some of the
    broken stones.
    He got those stones examined, and it is said
    they contained a very high percentage of gold
    He sold his find and afterwards became a very
