That same night Daniel J's (Mahoneys) people were up with a cow in Tureenclassagh. and they had the light lighting. Some time in the night they heard the very lonesome ólógón coming along the road and they put out the light. The crying came nearer and passed the house. The Mahoney's, the they looked out saw the very same horse and boy and woman passing along. When they story was told afterwards by the Mahoney's it was decided that the woman on the white horse was the deceased's own mother who had come to 'meet' her.3.
