  1. It is said that Gobnait had two sisters. While she had her church at Ballyvourney one sister went to Donoughmore and the other to Mallow.
    Some years ago near the Railway Station in Mallow a tree was felled and inside was found an iron cross.
    This cross is supposed to have marked the holy well called after Gobnait's sister.
