- Ballybeg is in the northern side of Buttevant three miles from Ballyclough village. The owner of the land is Mr. Green. The ruins of the Old Abbey are there yet. The graveyard and the headstones are there yet. There is a road going from Bally Beg Abbey to Kilmaclennan Abbey, and that is the way the monks used to visit each other. The ruins of a church is in Kilmaclennan also and a graveyard and high headstones.

- In Kilmaclennan Saint Colman was born. The ruins of his church are there yet. It is situated in the northern side of Ballyclough about two miles from the town of Buttevant.
The land is occupied by Mr. Walsh and it is a lovely place.
There are several rooms in the ruin.
