    period, and take no notice of the cold while thus engaged.
    Of all the games I play I think hurling is the best. We make arrangements to meet in some field after dinner on Sundays. Two of the senior boys make the match. A hurley is tossed up to see who will have the first call. The boys are called by each senior in turn until the last boy has taken up his place. The game then begins and there is great excitement for an hour or more when we all disperse to meet again on the following Sunday.
    Handball is the most strenuous game of the lot. It requires great practice to become expert in this game. In the Summer evenings the boys meet at the Alley, and the matches are arranged.
