  1. There are many signs of good and bad weather. It is said that if a circle is to be seen round the moon that it is a sign of rain. Dark clouds are also signs of rain. if the sky is red in the evening, it is a sign of good weather. The wind from the west brings most rain to our district. If the birds are flying low it is a sign of rain. If the soot falls it is also a sign of rain., When the cat turns its back to the fire it is said that we shall have more rain., When the north wind blows it is a sign of snow. When the distant hills look high it is a sign of rain.
