The roads around Ballynattin, Ballynoe, Tallow are old and worn from many floods.
Not far from my home, there is a hill called "Geneve". It is a very high hill. It is a most gloomy place.
It is supposed to be haunted by a headless sow.
One night as a man from Ballynattin, Ballynoe, returned home from Midleton, Co Cork, and as he approached the hill, he was terrified at meeting that gruesome object at the foot of the hill. He retraced his steps as quickly as possible and went home by another route. He told his strange tale to many, and thus made them afraid of passing by that road late at night
