  1. The ruins of this parish are not great in number, yet some historic ruins are still visible. In the townland of Killasseragh, Ballynoe, Tallow, Co. Waterford, there is an old ruin. It was once upon a time a church. When Cromwell came to Ireland, he burned that church. The remains are still visible. It is surrounded by a high fence
    There is only only one entrance, which was a gate, but now it is converted into a open gap.
    There are two large stones parallel to one another on one side and they formed the door leading into the church. The stones are now overgrown by mosses and grass.
    The remains of the walls are still visible. The church was very small and it was square. It had a roof made of "litter" .
