One day while mass was going on the soldiers came and killed the priest. - Mass was said in Matehy during the penal days. One day at the Conceration the Soldiers killed the priest and people. When they came to a river a light shone around and the hand and the Host flew up to heaven. One of the soldiers fell dead and he was buried Matehy Grave-yard. Next morning the grave-yard was removed to the other side of the river. The old officer's grave remained there alone and can be seen there still.
