    the townland the oldest inhabitants being the Crowleys. There are about eighty people. Irish is not spoken there. There is no common name. All the farmers' houses are slated, and two-storied. There are no houses of the old type, they were all built lately. There are about two-hundred and thirty acres of land. It is all good especially on the banks of the river where the limestone land is it is very fertile.
    A few people emigrated to Australia about twenty years ago and a few also went to America. There are two lissess and a stream at the western side dividing it from Killingley. There are no woods.
