    Seemingly the cattle fair was not always held throughout the streets - for to the North side of the village on an elevation, is a field styled the "Fair Field."
    The best fairs of the year are held in April and May, when the cattle are fat and the prices good.
    For the three other seasons of the year, the buying of cattle or pigs is very slack.
