    put a frog into your mouth.
    To get Bad Teeth out people used to go to the Blacksmith. He would tie a piece of cord to the tooth and the anvil. Then he would draw a red Iron across the face and the person would draw back from the Iron and the tooth would come out.
    Cut Finger
    The cure for a cut finger was to put a cobweb on it.
    Sore Eyes
    Sore Eyes were cured by washing them in cold Tea or milk.
    Sprained Foot
    The cure for a sprained leg was to dip it in a stream of fresh water and bandage tightly.
    Sore Throat
    The cure for a sore throat was to burn salt and put it into a woollen stocking and tie it around the throat, or a poultice of hot potatoes
