    Whooping Cough :- Some people say that if a child has the whooping cough the best cure is if anyone in the house sees a man passing by on a white horse, halt the man and say "man riding a white horse what is the cure for a whooping cough. The old people say that every man riding a white horse usually knows what is the cure for a whooping cough.
    Warts :- If you bury a piece of beef in the ground, as the meat is decaying the warts will be vanishing. It is also said that if you gather a small bag of stones and leave them at the cross roads. The first person to find the stones will take the warts from you.
