    that acts as the parlour, sitting room, dining room etc. There is another small one where the hens are turf are kept.
    The table
    There is a table that is forty years old and the legs are worn now. It stands near the back-window and there isn't a white-cotton table cloth on it or an oil table cloth but the pure white board off of which they eat.
    bacon-stick
    The bacon-stick is near the fire and now and again a piece of meat may be seen hanging there.
