- There were several old crafts practised Long ago. Candles were made by putting the wick up through the mould and melting the tallow in a grisset. Then they used to pour the tallow into the mould and then hung it up for a while until it got hard. Then they dipped the mould into a drop of hot water and drew up the candle, and then the candle was made. Baskets are made by sticking the rods in the ground then weaving the small rods up around the big rods, and(continues on next page)
