- There is a well in the townland of Bohard in Martin Geary's place called horans well. There is no certain day for visiting it. A lot of people that have sore eyes go there to pay rounds. A girl name Kitty Mahony had pains in her bones for two years and she went to that well and kept paying rounds for a month and when she had finished the rounds the pain went away and she never got a pain since. She also had kidney trouble and she used to boil dandelion and drink the juice of it.
