- There is a blessed well about four miles from here. It is called St Ita's Well. St Ita's Day falls on the 15th, of January. One day St Ita went into Tournafulla on a donkey. When she went into a shop, some boys took her donkey, and as they were crossing the road, the donkey fell on his hoof's and the print of them is to be seen there yet. It is said that St. Ita cursed Tournafulla and that she said it would never be without a robber.
