    the gate was locked against him and the gatekeeper in bed fast asleep. "Begorra", remarked the Grandfather "Twas quickly you went to bed again after letting that carrriage pass a few moments ago". "Oh god bless you, my dear man", said the gatekeeper, "The people in that carriage never ask us to open a gate for them. They drive through without doing any harm to the gates". This carriage was known as the headless coach.
