    out from the dwelling all the flax which grew in the fort was in an adjoining field and the story tells us that the men heard a terrible commotion in the port and a loud voice was heard saying, "This place is small enough for ourselves". The fort was never cultivated afterwards.
    Lights have been seen as late as twenty five years ago in the shape of a large ball passing from Hannan's to Fitzgerald's fort. There was music heard in Fitzgerald's also.
