  1. One time Mr Cleary of Anglesboro had set his potatoes but they did not grow as well as usual. When he was digging the potatoes he found a ball in the ridge and it was full of feathers and wool. It was then he thought that it was some one who was playing phishogues on him. He took the ball to the priest and the priest told him to take the ball home and burn it, so he did and his potatoes grew all right the
