There is only one holy well in the immediate vicinity of this parish which is known as St. Johns Well, Situated at the northern end of the village of the hospital, between St. Johns Church and the river. It is in the centre of Michael O'Sullivan's field. Rounds were preformed there, up to some years ago, but the practise has fallen away in later times.
