   In my own townland there is afort or lis and it locallyknown as "Bárnaspiride" the people do not like to travel this field at night. A black women is supposed to appear to the people in days gone by and a light was known there also. There are no ditches or fences around it only a slight to rise or mound and a whitehorn tree growing in the centre
