    looking for the barrel going into every house along the road inquiring to know did they see it.
    When they went into Faheys' he was after coming home from school. They asked him did he see the barrel on the road. He said that he got it. His wife said not to mind that man that he was foolish. "Maybe he is not so foolish at all", said the officer. "When did you get it my good man." "I got it Sir the day before I went to school". "Didn't I tell you" said Mrs. Fahey, "that he was foolish." The officer ran out the door saying "May the devil fire you and your school."
