    with the skin of a salmon. People visit the holy well of Templebeg, Kylanna, and Latteragh to cure sore eyes and sore ears principally and also pains in knees and hands by washing them in the water.
    Thrush in people can be cured by killing a goose on Christmas Eve and rubbing the soup into the flesh.
