  1. There are two forges in my district. These are the names of the smiths. Michael Russell and Patrick Bourke the people had been smiths for many years one of the forges are near a cross road. The door is square, there is a timber roof in the forge, and the other forge is slated. The smith in my district shoes horses, and make farm implements such as ploughs and harrows and spades and shovels and forks in the forge. It is said that the smith was able to banish rats from a house.
