- In olden times the people used to eat three meals every day. The meals were, Breakfast, dinner and supper. The breakfast was eaten at six o'clock every morning. The dinner at twelve o'clock in the day, and the supper was eaten about nine o'clock in the night. The people used to work in the morning before having their breakfast. The breakfast consisted of oatmeal porridge and milk and some people would have potatoes instead of porridge. Potatoes, butter and milk they used have for dinner, and potatoes and milk again for supper. Potatoes were eaten nearly at every meal and cows milk was drunk.
