    "Now" said the captain "put on your caps" This done he ordered them all to repeat after him
    "High Cap it over to England"
    No sooner had they said these words than they all rose into the air and sailed across the sea to England. To London they went. When they reached London the Captain led them to a fine public house. All the doors were locked and the windows shuttered as it was then about 1.30 at night.
    The Captain called out "High cap it in through the keyhole"
    The others repeated these words and forthwith all passed through the keyhole.
    When they got inside they found several barrels of rum and whiskey, cheese and bread.
    They sat down to supper and before he began to eat Jack took off his cap.
    The others left them on.
    Poor Jack was fond of whiskey and he now drank so much that he got hopelessly drunk.
