The others repeated these words and forthwith all passed through the keyhole.
When they got inside they found several barrels of rum and whiskey, cheese and bread.
They sat down to supper and before he began to eat Jack took off his cap.
The others left them on.
Poor Jack was fond of whiskey and he now drank so much that he got hopelessly drunk.
