- Potatoes are grown in our garden. My father prepares the ground and the ground is manured with rotten leaves and other things. The potatoes are sown in ridges. When the potatoes are going to be set people cut the potato in two parts and it is left in root for a week or two.
When the people are setting or gathering the potatoes they help one another. They store them in pits first putting clay on them and then straw.- Collector
