This is a another incident Mr. Wall related to me concerning the fort referred to in the previous story:- 'My grandfather and a friend of his were putting out topdressing one day in the field next to fort." "They soon got hungry and began to wish for food." A table suddenly appeared laden with good things to eat. My grandfather sat down and eat enough. His comrade was afraid to approach the table. As he did not eat he was struck by an unseen hand. He became foolish and remained simple all his life.
