    allowed to hang down in lengths nearly to the floor. While in the "putty" or plastic state these lengths were drawn into thinner "strings" and made ins everal kinds of little baskets, bird's nests, flowers etc. The Peggy's leg was the plain "junk" off the original length.
    On Sundays during and between the Masses Judy was to be seen seated at a little table outside the Chapel Gate in Bansha selling her "fancy ware" and "Peggy's leg."
