    winkers on but himself. This old man got sick and was confined to bed. During his illness the jennet was wanted and all the efforts of the neighbours to bridle the jennet failed, with the result that the jennet had to be brought into the man, who got out of bed to put on the bridle, and getting back to bed he got a green herb around his head. Being superstitious he ate it, and immediately he did, he was all right. Attributing the cure to the herb called "trayfoil". Knowledgeable people called "Quacks" used to use herbs, and cured many people with them.
    Chicken Weed is a small red flower with many different roots and grows in rich soil. If chickens pick it, they get the 'pioc' and die. It is a great cure
