    Killing a swallow is supposed to bring over eleven years bad luck.
    If it happened that a person had two knives beside them eating their dinner they would have two husbands and if you had two spoons you would have two wives. Walking under a ladder on one's wedding day brings ones bad luck. If you fasten an old shoe to the car in which two young people are going in to get married it is a token of good
