I remember hearing of a very noticable event which occured in the townland of Cloughaleigh, the rightful owner of a farmer was evicted and his farm occupied by the landlord but he was allowed to reside in his farm. One day in the hay saving season the caretaker made a hundred trams in the farm. and when he went next day to look at his trams to his great surprise he found them all missing. The caretaker immediately approached his evicted tenant and accused him of stealing his hay
