  1. Buying and Selling:-
Shops were not as plentiful long ago as they are now. When a person wanted a message they had to go to town for it. It was a custom with the people to go once a week to the town to get what they wanted.
    2. Sometimes peddlers used to go around and buy rags and feathers from the people.
They used to pluck the geese alive and often the poor birds used nearly die with the severity of the plucking.
    3. Buying and Selling was often done after Mass and is yet continued when cabbage plants are sold after Mass.
