    "Sore eyes and stys"
    Honey for sore eyes, and by making the sign of the cross with a marriage ring three times, and then look through it.
    "Warts"
    Water found lodged in a stone and found unexpectedly. Also by taking some meat from a house unknown to the people and hide it under a cow's "dung," and while the meat would be decaying the warts would be passing away also. Also to count the number of warts, and to make a bundle of the same amount of pebbles, and leave them on the road-side. The first person that would take the pebbles will take the warts from the person that has them.
    "Thrush"
    A posthamous child by breathing into the mouth of the person with the disease, three mornings in successin, both should be fasting. A gander used cure the disease in the same way.
    "Cheiheen"
    Sometimes when a person goes beyond his reach he strains his breast-bones, and the "cleiheens" are said to be down. Unless these are raised by means of a tumbler, a candle, and a penny the person pines away till death.
