    "Sore ears"
    Tow dipped in vinegar and put into the ear.
    "Tooth ache"
    Mix red earth black earth and soot together and rub it to the tooth.
    "Burns"
    Pour milk on the burn and let the dog lick it. The lick of a person that licked a lizard.
    "Sore Neck"
    The stocking worn during the day to be worn round the neck during the night. Also to put salt into it.
    "Boils"
    A poultice made of common brown soap and ground sugar. Also a poultice made of baker's bread and water and applied bouling hot.
    "Black-leg"
    Garlic so as to prevent the black quarter, and to give up polishing boots on Sundays.
    "Head ache"
    Drink strong tea, and to place a handkerchief tight round the head.
    "Sprained Ankle"
    Bog onions broken up and placed in a jar of clean water and after a few days rubbed to the ankle, and a tight bandage to be wound round it.
