  1. 1. There is a blessed well situated in Caherea. know as Saint Brigid's. It is a fairly big well with a tree growing over it. There is an altar erected by the side of the well and when people come there to perform a round they leave some object there.
On the fifteenth of August people visit that well and perform five long rounds and five short ones. When they are doing them they say the rosary. The well is also a cure for sore eyes.
