  1. Our farm at home. In our farm fields are called by different names.
    Páire a Tun’ Aoil. This field had a lime-kiln there long ago. There is no trace of it now. The people used to burn lime there.
    Gort-Rian. This is the name a tough meadow, it is very hard to cut it.
    Peach . This is the highest peak in the land. The old people call it “pake.”
    Móinfhéar a Chapaill. It was always the horse’s field. No other animal grazed on it but the horse.
