Marriages
When a couple were getting married long ago they considered Monday, tuesday and Wednesday the luck days and Thursday, Friday and Saturday the unlucky days. They had a rhyme like this - Monday for health, Tuesday for wealth, Wednesday the best day of all, Thursday for losses, and Friday for crosses and Saturday no luck atall. When the man was getting married he was sure to borrow some old clothing from another man.
The man would usually go on horseback to the chapel and return in the same vehicle with his wife. - You are not logged in, but you are welcome to contribute a transcription anonymously.
