- St Bridget's well is about four and a half miles from Lahinch. It is called after St Bridget, because she was seen there. It removed once, because a woman washed potatoes in it. People from all parts visit St Bridget's well on the first of February, and the last Sunday of July.
There is an eel seen there, and anybody that ever saw the eel got their request. A man from Ennis that was only to go on crutches went to the well, and he saw the eel. He got cured, and he left the crutches after him.
