ChurningThe churn was made once a week in the Winter and twice a week in Summer because the cream would be sour. There are two kinds of churns a hand churn and a dash churn which is twisted around by a handle..Before we make the churn we scald it with hot water and then rinse it with cold water .Then we put the cream into the churn and stay twisting it around till it is made. Then we take it out and salt it and then we eat it and sell some of it.- Collector
