    8. Ye. Lord, I ask that this short day be spend for thee and Thine.
Beloved, grant its every hour may reach Thy Heart Divine.
Let not my foolish love of praise, rob work or prayer from Thee,
Jesus, from pride from self, from sin,
May this one day be free - Amen

  2. 1. Jesus, Dear, The day is over.
Now I leave my labour light.
    And before my slumbers
Come to say a sweet Good Night.
Would that I could tarry near Thee,
    Rest before Thy lonely Shrine,
    You would whisper loving secrets,
And I'd tell Thee all of mine.
So good-night once more, my Jesus.
Grant, no matter where I be
All my day thoughts and night dreaming.
be of Thee and only thee.
This prayer is said when going to bed.
