- A StormThe worst storm I ever heard of was the one which happened on the "Night of the Big Wind". It was the worst storm in living memory, and it happened over a hundred years ago. The men who were out fishing were driven up with the high tide, and their dead bodies were found in the potato fields in the townland of Cornamuckla. Lots of small houses were knocked down, and trees were torn from their roots.Collected by:
