  1. There is a Lios in the Townland of Bavan in the parish of Carlingford, which is owned by a gentleman named Mr. Patrick Caulfield. It is round in shape with a bank round it. There is another Lios in the Townland of Ardaghy. The two Lioses are said to be connected by an underground passage. Music and ghostly lights are reported to have been seen by old people late at night in the Lioses. One day a farmer was opening a drain in a field beside the Lios. He came upon a large hole in the shape of a passage. The hole was so large that he covered it up and never opened it again.
