- A cure for rose or whittle. The Casey family have the cure, they cure it by putting their hands on sore and by saying some prayers. The cure for a sty on a persons eye is to point nine gooseberry thorns at three times each day for nine days and after that the sty is cured.
A cure for sore eyes is to put cold tea on a cloth and put it on the sore eyes in the morning when you awake. A cure for warts, rub the milk of the dandelion on the warts three times.
