    mother and son, they go around in an ass and cart, the ass died about a month ago so now they pull the cart themselves, they sleep in a tent a night, they fix cans and saucepans and they make bicycles and all the money they get they drink it in the nearest public house. There is another travelling man named "moon" and he goes round alone, he sleeps in some farmers hay barn, he repairs boots, the people do not like him because when he gets anything he is not satisfied and he will want more.
