    Care of our Animals.
These tyings are made out of iron or rope and run up and down on a traveller.
When cows break out they are swiveled by a rope from a horn to a front leg.
Goats and sheep are tangled with a rope from a front leg to a hind one.
Donkeys are spanchled with a rope or a piece of bag to keep them from breaking out.
It is said that a horse can fight a ghost as long as the rider stays on his back.
One dark night a man was going home from town, when he was going past Philipstown graveyard his horse started to frighten and then started to kick.
The man looked out between the horses two ears and saw a black man walking towards him.
